Our garden kicks off in April

The early part of the year can be hard for many of us gardeners. We’re itching to get seeds in the ground, the plants transplanted out to the garden and really get going. If you are anything like me, your greenhouse is already bursting with seedlings at the seams, and you have so much more to sow. But…. Isn’t there always a but? But, our average last frost date isn’t for weeks yet so realistically, putting my plant babies out any time before June is risky.
However, if you take a second, breathe and actually look, properly look at your garden. There is so much to be happy about. All those spring bulbs that give us colour in the colder months at the start of the year, the evergreen hardy shrubs and plants some of which are even giving us flowers and of course, the blossom on the apple trees.

We thought it was time for us to bring back the monthly garden tours and start to watch the garden wake up and enjoy all that new growth. So join us and I’ll take you through all the colour and life in our garden.
