In this week’s garden adventures, it’s time to check on the Kelvedon Wonder peas and see how they are going and it’s time to plant out our Cobra green beans. Both these sets of plants are sharing a bed because they are both vertical growers, generally needing a structure to climb on, but did you know that the climbing habits of peas and beans and quite different? So they need slightly different types of supports.

The tricky part is that beans can get VERY tall, so they need a support structure that can keep them safe all the way to the top. A tricky task when you are just over 5ft tall. Luckily my fabulous balancing abilities and my heavy duty raised beds come into their own 😀
